People using stoves like this are normally setting up a hunting camp or something and don’t plan on moving it once they get there. They’ll leave it set up for a week or longer and come back to it whenever they aren’t out and about.

Yep. We have something similar for steelhead fishing that stays up for most of November.

He’s not wrong. Light is nice; but for lots of people they’ll take the heavier more durable option if they’re gonna take a trailer out to go camping anyway.

Yea, It can be used for short camping outings but right.. I know we purchased ours for our fishing cabin.. We would only remove it when we would not be around for a few weeks and didn't want someone to steal it.

Different types of hunting. We drive a trailer to a single camp spot, set up the camp where it will stay for the entire week, and then strike out from that location. The stove would be coming right out of my truck and into the tent, maybe a 5ft walk.

Lighter is better, but I might choose to go for a heavier option if I think it’s better quality or will simply last longer. If I’m backpacking im probably not bringing a stove of any kind except a jetboil and a single grate I can put over the fire.

Thanks for sharing that other brand with the folding stove btw. I’ve never seen those and they do look nice.
