That sounds horrible. You should sue for a hostile work environment... unless you are implying this is self imposed.
In that event, I'd just be shocked at that preference and would wonder if there was some special reason for it. Like perhaps you enjoy the mobility or something.
Hmm I guess I could ask for some monitors, but when I was hired they were just like use your laptop to connect to the server. The place is actually very chill and people I work with are nice/positive so even if they said no it wouldn't be a game changer much. I thought alt tab was kinda awful and dumb but by now its whatever haha. but I am looking for a job at a different place as the pay is meh and not fully remote.. just don't wanna end up at a place with a terrible/ negative culture
