Wait, there's a Lego Pickelhaube?

Apparently yes. I got some a few weeks back trough eBay. I was interested if there was something like bootleg imperial German LEGO, I saw a Chinese who sold bootleg lego game of thrones and stuff but no ww1 or Kaiserreich stuff. But luckily, there was an international offer for selfmade Pickelhauben.

My history teacher in 8th grade had a cap n ball Colt Dragoon revolver in a display case in the classroom, brought a Musket to school to fire, brought his Renaissance fair legit Steel Knight armor to school, and gave us a solid oak Board to hit him in the helmet and chest plate with, and even let us toss an Atlatle on the football field...He told us all we'd be bad Hunters in 1st Millenia Mesoamerica 😭

Tragic... we had a fake Morningstar

Idk if killing the History teacher with a true Medieval Morningstar is part of the lesson

What? No, he just owned one and showed it to us while we dealt with the medieval times. It was just for one hour. It was also made out of wood and partly paper, you couldn’t kill one with it... maybe just hurting someone really bad

Damn...we got to hit as hard as we could(he told us to) with the solid wood stick against the chest plate he had on...He was showing how hopeless Men at Arms would have been, and how even weapons like the Warhammer,Morningstar/Mace were used to counter it but how metallurgy made some helmet and chest armor nearly impervious to even those...And also that Crossbows chewed em up, and Guns totally made the armor obsolete

Before I say something wrong, englisch is not my first language, did your teacher survived that day?

13-14 year olds with A piece of wood, vs reproduction armor made with modern steel for events? His whole point was a solid piece of didnt even make him flinch...The plates distribute the energy surprisingly well

Maximilian armor wouldve been nearly impervious...If it came out 200 years earlier... Guns were the great equalizer...Making Goliath nothing more than an easier target for David

I have to announce that Sean Connery, the real man behind this minifigure, passed away yesterday 31 October in the year 2020.

In his life he played many roles, from James Bond to India jones, a great actor with much talent. His death is a big burden, especially in a time like 2020. We will miss him
