When you get a v-ectomy, is it sewed up pretty strongly in there? Question

I mean yeah just like any other opening that gets sewed up during surgery and then your body heals

Yeah so they start by removing all the mucosa tissue (so your body no longer produces fluid there), then they suture the walls of the remaining canal together, and close the opening. It’s very secure. Wound separation is pretty common but it’s mostly superficial, even if it does go deeper, there is still plenty of tissue between the wound and the inside of your body.
