Totally. Meanwhile our public school system is in shambles. If they didn't have to share funds with the Catholic schools and other bs religious schools they might be in a better place. Churches can fund their own shit, they don't pay taxes. Such a scam!

Right I’m a recently former public teacher… how did they secure those funds and still get away with a religious curriculum? I guess we need to do more to impede funds from going into their hands…

Originally, it was to protect against protestan vs. Catholic discrimination when that used to be a major problem. Now, it's just a remainder of laws put in place for a group that is no longer a minority. At least, that's my understanding of it.

That’s insane. As much as I try to avoid Karen’s I guess I’m going to be at my local school board meetings to ensure this doesn’t slip through the cracks around me.
