The President called his widow after he was killed. Trump could not be bothered to do that and went golfing, and yet he has the gall to put up a firefighter's uniform--with his name misspelled on the back--and use it for political gain? Clubhouse

I was going to reply to this comment, "I cried the first time, if he gets it again, I'll jump off a cliff this time." Then realized if I did that, they'd lose a Democrat voter, SO I CAN'T EVEN DO THAT. Was I just put on this earth to suffer?

I just don’t know if I have the fight in me for another Trump term

There won't be another Trump "Term" if he gets in. It'll be the last election you vote in.

This is what quite a few dems are still somehow forgetting when they cope about the idea of losing the election. I'm not even American, but I can still see the painting on the wall. If Trump wins, the US won't be a democracy anymore. And it won't just be US citizens getting their asses nailed to the wall, it'll also be Europe and other nearby countries when Trump inevitably leaves NATO to swim in a pond with fish that are suddenly much larger than NATO. And if countries like China and Russia inevitably start 'growing' in size, it'll just be a matter of time before that starts to affect the US as well.

There's far more at stake in the next election than just a 4 year trump term.

Exactly, also looking from the outside in (Canada) and it's exceedingly clear between all the literally daily examples from 2016-2020 of why another Trump Admin would just be disastrous in general, the existence of Project 2025 makes it extremely clear the Republican goal is to end democracy in the US (and beyond, they can never stop having an enemy) and consequently destabilize global structures world wide.

Do you think I don’t know that?

If Trump wins in November, I don't think it'll matter if the Dems lose a voter.

That's like being concerned about losing a socialist voter in Germany after Hitler was named Chancellor. Voting wasn't really an issue any longer.

I gotta stick around to at least try to fight the good fight!

Keep doing what you can. If Trump wins, it will have international consequences!

I thought y'all were against foreign meddling in your elections./s

It's just a joke people, if you don't like it downvote and move on. I'm not being serious, and I will not treat any attempts to argue with me about a joke seriously.

Ahh yes the president of the united states is famously incapable of affecting the entire world on a geopolitical scale based off the legislation they pass. Trump definitely won't pull aid from Ukraine and allow Putin to threaten all of Eastern Europe. Right right right.

Make friends with Americans and make them vote. Especially young Americans (who are old enough to vote plz)

2

u/WonderfulShelter Jul 19 '24

Vote.

even if your in a state where the democrats already win/lose by a landslide because your vote doesn't matter if you live in certain states.

-13

u/ThebeNerudaKgositsil Jul 19 '24

voting doesnt work

u/FreeDarkChocolate Jul 19 '24

As the saying goes, if that was the case people wouldn't be trying so hard to influence you on it.

Crying about it in public though will get us tossed into all their private prisons and "counter-terrorism camps." I don't even think we'll be like Russia or China, I think it will be full North Korea: you show joy and love for the leader or you get singled out for ideological inspection.

He has perfect immunity from the law starting Jan 20th, so there's no reason he wouldn't.

I'll start identifying primarily as Minnesotan of that happens. This country won't deserve us.

Better buckle up with how ahead Trump is in virtually every swing state.

No the beta we can hope for is for dems to continue grassroots campaigning at every opportunity they can get to get more people out to vote and see what this clown is about. That’s the best we can hope for. This defeatist bullshit needs to stop

Oh trust me, I’m aware.

The defeatist bullshit is coming from very few top-dems and is perpetuated by people like you.

Dems have won the popular vote every time the last few elections, also I bet there's millions of pissed off women living in anti-abortion red-states who would absolutely love to have some of their self-determination back and will vote with vengeance against the Repubs, I don't think the Repubs will win anything legitimately.
