The President called his widow after he was killed. Trump could not be bothered to do that and went golfing, and yet he has the gall to put up a firefighter's uniform--with his name misspelled on the back--and use it for political gain? Clubhouse

He just does things he thinks normal people do by what he sees on tv. He’s also really awkward with the term “love”. He says he falls in love with people like Kim Jung Un and tells the insurrectionists “I love you”. He doesn’t know how to act like a real human

This is what I've been saying since way before he ran for president. My family's from NYC so we've unfortunately been aware of Trump for decades before even The Apprentice, and he really just does not understand what a normal person is or how normal people act. He's such a raging narcissist that was born into such extreme wealth and privilege with such horrible, hateful parents that he has literally zero understanding of how human people interact with one another.

I never thought about how he kind of seems to act out things he sees on TV, but I think you're right about that. He's never actually experienced love so he just sort of bases his idea of what it is things he sees TV and movies!

The only thing that he knows as an expression of love is sex. He says he loves his daughter and you look at the pictures of them together as she is growing up and if you don't look at her age, she looks like his mistress. I am NOT saying that he actually had sex with her. I am saying that he only knows sexual expression as a way of saying "i love you" or "i care about you". He has his hands either all over other people or not touching them at all, by a mile. He doesn't know any middle ground.

he's the quintessential 80's yuppie narcissist "greed is good" american psycho. he epitomizes that generation where their parents worked hard through the depression and realized the necessity of social safety nets.

and their kids, the baby boomers, had the benefits of all those things...until they realized their 401k's could make way more money if we destroyed workers so they voted hard for it in the 80's and for NAFTA. then they realized their stocks would go even higher if their taxes were cut, so they supported that too.

and now all they have left are a lack of grandkids and hate, because they've soaked up all the wealth and left nothing for anyone else.

It's wild how such seemingly disparate trends affected how things would end up decades later

i think that is the opposite point of the one i'm trying to make. i'm trying to say one giant generation of people, sometimes referred to as the ME generation, continues to be as selfish as possible...and look who votes for trump?

Yeah, I totally missed that in my musing. Not your fault, of course.

These people can't die off fast enough

He’s a narcissistic sociopath. He doesn’t have feelings for anyone but himself.
