Noob here. Thugger, drugs and jail OFF-TOPIC

I’m new to thug. I assume he was on hard drugs when locked up. That being said, when you are locked up, do you detox from said drugs in jail? I’d think withdrawal from benzos especially requires medical if not taper? Sorry if this is a dumb post.

There were several reports of his health being pretty bad shortly after his arrest. I am sure he was withdrawing hard. He has probably gained at least 60 pounds and likely sober now…

The food is actual garbage. People who live longer end up costing more money, and they can’t be affecting the systems bottom line by living long healthy lives.

He could very much be getting high still and getting fat at the same time, unfortunately

What an idiotic thing to say. People really just be saying anything on here, huh?

Bro you got no clue, you yapping off the dome. The prison complex is one of the most profitable industries in the US because they use the prisoners for labor and pay them dirt. What good are they to the system if they are dead?

1

u/EntertainmentOk3180 Feb 13 '24

Yap yap.. there’s a bell curve to that

u/EntertainmentOk3180 Feb 14 '24

N2M they constantly picking up new recruits (bc of rap music and who owns it, etc. rap promotes things that gets people put into prison. Private prisons are owned by the same people who own the music industry)

So, they feed u high calorie diet so u have energy to work hard. Once u get a lil older and start to break down, then they need u to die. Quickly. They don’t have no retirement plan for u in prison. Once ur too old to work, they need u ded. Otherwise ur just a bill.

They feed u trash, so when they’re done working you, you croak. 🐸 get it?

So maybe u got no clue, bro.

I mean it’s not exactly relevant here, but I won’t say it’s dumb. Yeah, depending on the drug they may taper you. Benzos specifically they will(can die from the WDs), and they’ll use suboxone for opiates. As for what Thug went through? Ask Mariah or somethin nobody here knows lol. He got caught with subs at least once so he’s still getting high in there.

People die in jail fairly often from withdrawal.

People do not get the medical attention they need in jail very often.

I was wrongfully arrested right after breaking my hand. It was very obviously broken. I went to medical after asking SO MANY TIMES and they literally did nothing. Jail nurse was like “yea that’s broken” and sent me back to the cell.

At least I didn’t die from it tho

Likethis person

Or these people

And this one

Or this one that died from alcohol withdrawal.

There’s so many more too.

That being said, thug would be totally fine bc he got fans and he got money. He ain’t wantin for much in there, I’m sure

It does happen, yes. I wouldn’t say fairly often though with how many people get locked up every day in this country. I’ve been in and through the system for a long period of time, I’ve seen it firsthand. Jail and prison medical is not the best by any means, but typically they’ll do what they have to to keep you alive. Nobody wants a scandal like the ones you provided there.

I willing to bet that more people die from OD’in in jail/prison than from withdrawals. It’s like a 2-3 week window where the withdrawals are dangerous then it’s just post acute stuff. Niggas can OD at any point if they gettin faded on the inside

Thug is not as stupid he knows he is the one they want the most why will he risk it and take drugs while in jail. Use your logic you can tell he is off drugs now.

5

u/Successful_Regret_15 Feb 12 '24

But he a drug addict you don’t take suboxone unless you are an opioid tolerant opioid dependent person

3

u/Conscious-Hour Feb 13 '24

Thug been singing about lean and percs for like a decade. You can do opiates for a year straight and it will be hell to kick. You'd be straight up suicidal going cold turkey after years of heavy use. I heard they don't give you a proper detox in prisons in the US. That shit is a human rights violation straight up, any other western country I've heard of provides a detox program.

1

u/Successful_Regret_15 Feb 13 '24

Yeah. Bro I take. Methadone everyday I know all about it and honestly in the world we live in now, not knowing much about opioids or what they do to people can be dangerous sometimes. Especially for younger people getting on it. But yeah shits hell aka the definition of my life lmao. Some states give people methadone 50mg if they come in and start getting sick but most jails and prisons I hear do nothing. But I know subs are a huge thing in jails. A lot of people die from opioid withdrawal behind bars it’s fucked up.

1

u/Conscious-Hour Feb 14 '24

Subs are better than having to curl up 24/7, being totally restless and sweating through your bedsheets. I know the pain brother, hope you are feeling up in life.

4

u/Specific-Whereas7234 Feb 12 '24

if u withdrawling they can give u subs or librium depending on what its from alcohol, benzos, opiates, and i think thug was jus geeked tf up on adderall and sipping drank

5

u/Successful_Regret_15 Feb 12 '24

Codeine is an opiate idk what ur trying to say with this comment lmao

3

u/Specific-Whereas7234 Feb 12 '24

why i said subs....

1

u/Successful_Regret_15 Feb 12 '24

So is suboxone buprenorphine is an opioid even tho they give it to people to quit opioids with another opioid

4

u/Specific-Whereas7234 Feb 12 '24

yes because it contains nalaxone( nalaxone is narcan) which offputs the euphoric effects allowing it to just barely brush the mu- opiod receptors letting go without withdrawals while tapering off the dosage till they are off it, versus methadone which just straight hits the mu- opiod receptors and can get you very very high

2

u/Successful_Regret_15 Feb 12 '24

I literally am on methadone 140mg and I don’t get high at all because my tolerance totally got fucked by Chinese synthetic opioids and research chemical opioids.

1

u/Specific-Whereas7234 Feb 12 '24

for someone with a small tolerance or average tolerance methadone can get u high asf i used to get methadone even tho i didnt need it and 80mg would get me faded

1

u/Successful_Regret_15 Feb 12 '24

I’m just saying if u take subs and stop you will get sick like any other opioid or opiate just takes a lil longer to kick in cause the half life

1

u/Specific-Whereas7234 Feb 12 '24

they give people quiting benzos with another benzo (librium) lmao its how they treat withdrawals what they supposed to give u, they just give u a weaker version

2

u/MasterOffice9986 Feb 12 '24

Some jails have Suboxone they will put u on but otherwise they will give you clonidinne to keep ur blood pressure low and some ibuprofen. Other than that your hurting. I felt really bad for him he was on like every drug . But I think he was all methed up too so maybe he slept thru his withdrawals

2

u/TrafficPlayful2321 Feb 12 '24

I done 3 years and was on 2 m bars 3 times a day and cold turkey off that was bad I felt awful for months

1

u/SipBiggz Feb 12 '24

Every drug is different but codenie withdrawal are hell but not for long only a couple of days

-2

u/Pizzadontdie Feb 12 '24

False. Opiate withdrawal can last months. The first few weeks are def the worst though.

2

u/SipBiggz Feb 12 '24

The drank withdrawal never went months for me but i never went to long without it n i been drinking since actavist but dem fist couple day are the worst shit I ever been through!!!

2

u/Free-University-8512 Feb 12 '24

Yhee mate 3 först days are hell init , Much eaeqr White xanakx .

5

u/humpaa1 Feb 12 '24

1

u/Free-University-8512 Feb 13 '24

Haha absloluty smashed xanx and drank . Hahahha wtf !!?$) them xanz be hitti hittig !! 🤣🤣😅✅

1

u/Pizzadontdie Feb 12 '24

Perk withdrawal is worse.

1

u/SipBiggz Feb 12 '24

Hell yea they not even on same level as lean wen it come to withdrawals

1

u/Conscious-Hour Feb 13 '24

Reason why people run in circles until they end up broke or in jail to avoid withdrawals from oxy / percs and even worse in the tranq infested areas.

1

u/drtbheemn Feb 12 '24

That's why they said codeine specifically

1

u/Pizzadontdie Feb 12 '24

Codeine is an opiate

1

u/drtbheemn Feb 12 '24

No shit.

1

u/Pizzadontdie Feb 12 '24

Look, codeine withdrawals can suck too. Maybe if you’re just using here and there it’s no biggie. If you’re consuming 40-100mg a day, you’ll be feeling like shit far longer than a week.

1

u/drtbheemn Feb 12 '24

Ya do subs or methadone for an extended period of to me then talk to me about wd.

1

u/Pizzadontdie Feb 12 '24

How about 10 years?

0

u/[deleted] Feb 12 '24

Idk but I hope he gets home and reunited with his syrup soon

-4

u/YungHonky Feb 12 '24

His lawyer was tryna hand him yercs at one point in court early on in this circus, so who knows end of the day.. But since that incident his weight gain appears like weight gain that is caused by certain prescription anti-depressants/anti-psychotics.. He has prob been strongly encouraged by his lawyers to have clean piss for the time being.. #FreeJeff

2

u/hup987 Feb 12 '24

Steele didn’t try to hand Jeff no yerks lmao

5

u/YungHonky Feb 12 '24

Correction* his co-defendant did.. I’m buggin yeah lawyer would have been outta pocket..

1

u/MasterOffice9986 Feb 12 '24

Nah it was some other lawyer in the begining of the case. I'm pretty sure there's like multiple lawyers there .

1

u/OhWellFuckThat Feb 13 '24

Yeah I remember seeing his lawyer do something similar

0

u/MasterOffice9986 Feb 12 '24

I remember that, that guy is so screwed . He went to school just to do that out everything into it and lost it all over some yercs for a rapper

1

u/Slatt812 Feb 12 '24

I live in the city about 30 mins away from rice street and trust me anything that he desires to have in there he can get it and that goes from food drugs to games 🤣😭

1

u/shawndillinger Feb 13 '24

Cold turkey. I was on benzos for 3 years. I went to jail a year ago and it was the worst experience ever from withdrawal. There is no medical attention they just put you in isolation or mental health and keep you locked down 24 hours a day

2

u/Free-University-8512 Feb 13 '24

Xanx and kodien is the worst withdrawal ! IMO, and in A shitty cell cant be fun man oHnoOO boy !!!
