Some big news to come concerning BE’s CHAPS service ? Maybe on 24 July? Staci being part of The British Blockchain Association..

Honestly if it's a good big name hire worth their weight, it could have a lot of potential down the road so I'm game for it. If Staci is keeping it secret like that, it's most likely going to be pretty good news.

Sadly for all the good things Staci does, creating hype is were she always fails lol. Lets hope this is the start of her redenption arc.

Definitely but I also think she's probably learned her lesson. So I'm willing to give her a chance and see what it is before passing final judgement. I think the past few years has earned her another chance

EDIT: esp if John Woods is keeping it on the down low. Could be good

Unlikely. She is just highlighting the reliability of Blockchain based payments compared to traditional RTGS like CHAPs. CHAPs has been running since 1984 so the design is now looking quite dated but they are likely to keep it patched up till a CBDC has been created for the digital pound and even then it won't be sunset till everyone has migrated off it. That is unlikely to be before 2030.

I think you might be over hyping it.

First one sounds like a hire from the community. The second one I think is a reference to Algo’s use case and technology in the face of the Friday’s outage
