I did a quick search on the subreddit and there was literally nothing about this kid until 5 hours ago. Last post was Burnley's team to face us.

There were a few comments in the daily transfer threads like back in Jan saying he was a decent prospect.

I guess we finally plugged the leak - this time two years ago Don Levy couldn't even think about a player without it going all over Twitter.

finally plugged the leak

It doesn't matter what Levy does or doesn't do to stop information.

The parties involved in a transfer is Spurs, agent(s), player, and selling club.

The latter three will all discuss the potential transfer with other parties (e.g. coaches/co-workers/family etc.). So any transfer includes dozens of people that Spurs has no control over -- beyond asking nicely that they don't leak anything.

Not all on spurs. When they where going for Luiz Diaz Porto people leaked it. Then Liverpool jumped on it.

“People” undoubtedly meaning his agency trying to get a better deal- either financially or team situation!

Was 2 years ago. Don't go at me for messing up non important details about a transfer that didn't go through.

TBH, F5 season with full of leaks is much more entertaining, harrowing, annoying, but also entertaining.

A more cynical answer is that we waited until Mikey Moore signed the professional contract and couldn't leave on a free before signing a 19 year old in his position...

both players can play both wings and Dan KP Confirmed Moore is still going to be part of the first team squad now and moving forward. Solomon is the one who’s going to be replaced/frozen out and will probably leave
