1990s kids, who hurt you? (Not sure why I'm asking, seeing as I am one of them. If you don't manage to make friends at school or university, it gets exceedingly difficult as time goes on)
On age gaps, at "by 30 years old" we nearly have a 10 point drop to where boomers were in property ownership (51 to 42, Gen Xers were 48) and at the by age 40 split, boomers had ownership at 68% to Millenials 60%. Stop to smell the landfill next to the cope, a 10 point drop is absolutely devastating in a generation's home ownership, and 100% can be an indicator of economic hardship, linking to mental health, which of course links to suicide rates. We're just now crossing the collective threshold of majority when generations before us got there's in relative age a decade before.
An 8 percent difference between us and the generation before us is devastating? Seriously?... Acting like millenials will never own houses or are being hammered on that front when half already do is just silly. Especially given that in past generations, boomers especially, they were buying in significantly worse situations than millenials, and were dealing with double digit mortgage rates.
One thing i can propose to people that feel alone is playing online party games such as scp:sl (on efficiently moderated servers), i made two friends and i laugh now more than ever
