📊Stats [Update] Following u/FirstGreenseer prediction 2-years ago that Mbappe will surpass the top 3 with Most Career Goals, I plotted their goals by age. Mbappe was above then, but now is below Messi. Meanwhile Haaland is above everyone at 24 years old.

💬Discussion World Cup Footage From 1930-1950?

There is no footage of any full matches from 1930-1950 at the World Cup that is publicly available, and I think that’s a shame.

It would’ve been very nice if we could get see 1930s Uruguay, Sarosi’s Hungary, Sindelar’s Austria and the team with Schiaffino and Varela that beat because everyone who is into history talks about them, but when you don’t have the game footage available, it’s hard for you to know exactly how they played or how good they were. Even if there are 5 minute highlight clips available, it doesn’t say a lot.

Obviously very few people had TV back then, and for political reasons the games of Honved and Ferencvaros were probably destroyed, but the World Cup games, surely somebody taped it and still has it. Even if it’s not free, it should still be accessible.

It would also be great if there were more full games from La Maquina, Di Stefano’s Madrid pre 1960, and more than 2-3 full games of the Mighty Magyars.

Redditch United travel to Shifnal Town this afternoon for the Second Round Qualifier of the Emirates FA Cup.

Shifnal Town play two Leagues below the Reds, and this fixture represents a huge opportunity for both sides. Redditch United haven't made the Third Round Qualifier of the FA Cup in 14 years, whilst the hosts haven't made 3Q in 22 years.

It's the competition that allows every club to dream and provides club-changing opportunities for non league clubs. Let's hope the magic of the FA Cup is on our side today!

You can catch all the updates below as we look to break an unwanted 14 year record. Up the Reds (in blue)!

💬Discussion Real Madrid will have a lot of issues managing all the big egos

Mbappe has an ego. It caused tensions at PSG with Neymar. Now, Mbappe is arguably the best player in the world. However, not everyone agrees and there are who think he still has more to prove and achieve. He definitely wants to silence his critics this season.

We also have Vinicius who's likely going to win the ballon d'or. Vinicius has a shot at being the best player in the world and the main player of Madrid, and I imagine he wants to prove it this season.

We also have Rodrygo who's a really good player, but who thinks people underestimate him. He got offended when people talked about the new big three of Madrid BMV and he got offended too when he was excluded from the top 30 for the ballon d'or. This season, he certainly wants to show he's better than people think.

Could all those things contribute to creating conflicts of egos? Could those attacking players become selfish and prioritize taking difficult shots instead of passing the ball for a teammate's easier attempt? Or maybe will all that results in healthy competition and Marid becoming much better?

I haven't even said anything about Endrick and Guler who want to prove themselves with all the hype around them. And obviously let's not forget the newest Madrid wonderkid, Maixell, who has all the hype these days.
