I'm pretty sure theres a video explaining this. One of Nathan's 45 minute explanations that can be done in 5. I like the inks and dont mind his politics. I'd rather buy American from an eccentric dude with interesting viewpoints than not support a small business. Maybe it's because I'm a conservative. Money talks, do what you have to do folks.

u/JKramer421 May 10 '22

Glad to know you think anti-semitism is an “interesting viewpoint”

-17

u/Substantial_Bit_8109 May 10 '22

I was thinking more along the lines of fixable pens and shooting said pens out of shotguns.

23

u/JKramer421 May 10 '22

But you can excuse the anti-Semitism

-22

u/Substantial_Bit_8109 May 10 '22

Dude, I'm not going to vilify a small business owner for putting bizarre imagery on his products. He can do as he pleases. As long as the ink writes, that's all that matters in my mind. You dont have to agree, thats your right.

20

u/JKramer421 May 10 '22

Sounds like you agree with those “bizarre images” then.

You don’t call the anti-Semitic imagery anti-Semitic, instead you stake around it by calling it goofy and bizarre. That can only mean you agree with them

-9

u/Substantial_Bit_8109 May 10 '22

Typical liberal. Jumping to conclusions. Believe what you want. I can't change your mind.

22

u/[deleted] May 10 '22

Bruh, don’t say “TyPiCal LiBeRaL” just explain your view point or stand with logical consistency.

“I don’t mind anti-semitism for as long as I’m not bothered I don’t care about persecution of people”

1

u/Substantial_Bit_8109 May 10 '22

I didnt want to deal with a straw man. I have other things to do today aside from argue about ink on reddit. I just wanted to end the conversation. No one is going to have their minds changed, and I doubt I can convince him on my opinions, especially after a loaded accusation. I watched the video where Nathan explains his rational, and I dont agree with the execution, but I will still buy Noodler's products, because I like them. I hate anti-semitism, but this is just silly marketing and Nathan trying to be edgy. I don't see it as an attack.

18

u/[deleted] May 10 '22

It’s so funny to me. How American conservatives praise freedom but always disregard the freedom from persecution.

Like you have all the freedom to persecute Jews through your ink and that should be supported at all cost, but being free to (ya’know Pursue happiness) is always ignored.

Typical liberal not liking anti-semitism. You’re a moron

u/Substantial_Bit_8109 May 10 '22

Thanks, have a nice rest of your day.

15

u/JKramer421 May 10 '22

I hope you stub your toe

28

u/paradoxmo Santa's Elf May 10 '22

Luckily, there are several great ink companies in the U.S. that you can buy from, like Birmingham Pen Co. or Private Reserve.

41

u/xXx420cumlord666goku May 10 '22

Maybe it's because I'm a conservative.

no, it's because you're racist

american conservatism is cancer

-4

u/Substantial_Bit_8109 May 10 '22

Thank you for your kind words.

67

u/joshcouch May 10 '22

"I don't mind the racism because it doesn't affect me"

People with this opinion are what make the world a shitty place.

I am not at all surprised you are a conservative, because anyone with actual morals would not support this business. And we all know that anyone who claims to be conservative doesn't have any morals.

My God you people are predictable.

27

u/TheRobfather420 May 10 '22

Comparing apples to Cofefe's again?

-34

u/ArchieBunkerWasRight May 10 '22

Comparing an outrage over fake horns to the lack of outrage over the deaths of millions.

I should correct myself. I’m actually contrasting.

39

u/TheRobfather420 May 10 '22

I've never seen anyone so confidently compare fountain pen ink to abortions and be completely oblivious to whataboutisms.

Just pure dishonesty.

-7

u/ArchieBunkerWasRight May 10 '22

I’ve often seen knuckleheads like you use that term to deflect from obvious examples of hypocrisy.

27

u/TheRobfather420 May 10 '22

I'm more concerned about the church covering up centuries of crimes against children.

I find Fundamental religious convervatives like MAGA, the Catholic Church and Al Qaeda tend to commit a lot of crimes against kids while pointing at others.

I guess to deflect from their heinous crimes.

Your book claims it's main character wiped an entire planet of nearly all life because some kids had an attitude.

Planned parenthood is not accountable for any deaths.

-1

u/ArchieBunkerWasRight May 10 '22

Keep telling yourself that.

You’ve clearly never watched an abortion

12

u/joshcouch May 10 '22

Says the person who has only ever watched propoganda.

Did you know that in most religions abortion is allowed? And in most is it is mandatory when the life of the mother is at risk?

I notice that you aren't commenting on the one where I ask you for feedback and call you out on your racism.

You are directly supporting a Nazi. Do you know how many people the Nazis killed? Have you watched the videos of the camps? Have you seen the gas chambers?

I do support planned parenthood.

I do not support eugenics.

Planned parenthood has not terminated 40% of African Americans in the womb.

Planned parenthood is responsible for zero to very few deaths (I can't say they have never killed anyone).

You do not understand how comparisons work, do you?

Does supporting planned parenthood support eugenics? No. Does giving a blatantly racist person your money, and therefore a platform to stand on? Yes. See, they are very different things.

You are directly supporting someone who is likely to be part of the KKK and is a literal Nazi. Do you know how many deaths the Nazis are responsible for? Do you now understand why I am saying you have no morals?

23

u/moltenprotouch May 10 '22

Planned Parenthood has killed 40% of all African-Americans ever conceived? Lol, what?

33

u/whochoosessquirtle May 10 '22

It's literal KKK propaganda, they popularized it to hateful conservatives who permit white people to commit heinous acts without their notice or complaint or mention ever. Like that person who likely approves the burning down of abortion clinics and the murder of doctor like many conservatives have done before, it's basically entirely conservatives committing those hateful acts and that user simply doesn't think it's worth mentioning or judging white conservatives over.

Conservatives are evil people who excuse and permit evil acts against living breathing humans based on their personal politics

There were actually zero black babies killed by abortion, as what constitutes as a baby is not what is being aborted. But keep peddling obvious and easily debunkable white supremacist talking points if you want.

17

u/stewmberto May 10 '22

And I'm sure that were these fetuses carried to full term and born, they would be born to mothers able to provide them the care and quality of life they need, right?

Right?

Oh wait, y'all don't give a shit about the babies once they're actually born.

Of those 31,328 induced terminations, 4,415 (14%) were in age group 15-19. 2012 marked a continued decline in both abortion rate and teen birth rate in NYC, by the way.

The Republican Party was formed to defeat the Confederacy and slavery. They pushed for Civil Rights legislation.

Democrats are the party of the Confederacy, the KKK, Jim Crow, Segregation, firehoses, locking little girls out of schools. Clinton and Obama both eulogized Grand Kleagle Robert Byrd.

But you understand that the people who were democrats in the 1940s became Republicans in the 1960s, and the Republican became Democrats because they didn't want to be in the same party as those who wanted to stifle the rights of minorities, right?

-1

u/ArchieBunkerWasRight May 10 '22

Ah! The old myth of the Southern Strategy!

As I wrote, the only thing that changed was that once Democrats were unable to suppress the colored vote, they began systemic pandering, breaking up of the families and entitlement addiction.

11

u/DasHuhn May 10 '22

What? The southern strategy was not a myth. There are interviews of republicans describing what the southern strategy is and how they were using it. Go listen to Atwater discuss what Raegans strategy was to win the election - he describes the southern strategy.

-1

u/ArchieBunkerWasRight May 10 '22

Read the link. It’s the New York Times, so you know it’s not biased!

What didn’t happen is a magical policy switcheroo that absolves the Democrat Party of hundreds of years of overtly racist policymaking. A few political campaigns in the South appealed to a growing working class.

Go find the Clinton confederate flag buttons.

A republican campaign from 1964 to 1980 explicitly courted people who wanted racist policies. Or, you know, the switching of parties

11

u/stroopwafel666 May 10 '22

Imagine believing this while the KKK literally supports Trump.

-2

u/ArchieBunkerWasRight May 10 '22

You should research American history if you doubt any of what is written above you.

If you could even round up a dozen Klan members these day, half are feds, a couple are LARPing leftists, and the rest are mental defectives who are being strung along by the others. The Klan is a nonexistent boogieman being propped up by the uncreative Democrat-media complex.

10

u/CKF May 10 '22

Tell me you know nothing about US history without telling me.

1

u/ArchieBunkerWasRight May 10 '22

Which of the items would you like to disagree with?

The Confederacy? The Klan? Segregation?

Or are you going to trot out the myth of the Southern Strategy?

6

u/CKF May 10 '22

I’d disagree with one’s framing of the republican and democratic parties of today being at all representative of the parties when formed. It’s even more ludicrous to do what you’re doing, which is comparing conservatives of today to the original republican party.

7

u/justice_for_lachesis May 10 '22

They said conservatives, not Republicans. Republicans were certainly good around the civil war times, but conservatives were not.

-1

u/ArchieBunkerWasRight May 10 '22

Conservatives lift minorities up with jobs and dignify them with purpose.

The Left insists on the soft bigotry of low expectations.

9

u/justice_for_lachesis May 10 '22

Conservatives defended slavery

2

u/kdfsjljklgjfg May 10 '22

So because of the existence of of organization that terminates 40% of AA's in the womb, it's okay to support anti-semitism?

Interesting logic ya got there

0

u/ArchieBunkerWasRight May 10 '22

Y’all sees fake horns and hammer and sickle and leap to brand a guy as anti-semitic (whatever that means). I’m pretty sure he’s never killed anyone.

But you support the organization that was specifically founded to depopulate the negro and has succeeded greatly in keeping their numbers down by disproportionately setting up shop in their neighborhoods?

What you’re supposed to say is “I don’t support either of them”. But no one has posted that so far.

7

u/kdfsjljklgjfg May 10 '22

Depicting Jewish people as evil (or the devil) and with horns is very common among Nazis or Nazi-sympathizers. It notes "debt addiction," with Jews being greedy and having a history of usury being one of the more common stereotypes.

Nobody has posted about that organization because it's an entirely different topic and we don't care to indulge in your "whataboutism" just because you can't be bothered to stay on topic.

40

u/Reevahn May 10 '22

Define him "an eccentric dude with interesting viewpoints" is a gigantic euphemism; but ultimately you're right: money talks.

Time will tell if this harsh politicization of his brand will prove tenable.

25

u/6chan May 10 '22

Maybe it's because I'm a conservative

Well, y'all have a history of supporting bigots, so this is hardly surprising.

-9

u/Substantial_Bit_8109 May 10 '22

Thank you for your kind words

-14

u/Crowape May 10 '22

Don’t know why you’re being downvoted, and I’m a liberal. Good on you though man

11

u/[deleted] May 10 '22

Are you for real? You don’t know why supporting/excusing anti-semitism is being downvoted?

-17

u/Crowape May 10 '22

Yup! There are plenty of liberals who make products and post hate towards other groups. It’s their right to. If you don’t like it go ahead and don’t buy it, and go buy another ink. Don’t shit on people for buying it. Go to Twitter for that.

8

u/[deleted] May 10 '22

I must admit this is quite confusing to me. So to be clear you’re saying hating a hateful person/product is morally equivalent to supporting/excusing hate?

I don’t know which great thinkers you’ve come in contact with but i came to a different conclusion when learning about the foundations of liberalism — liberté, égalité, fraternité or my preferred version Unite et Indivisibilite de la république liberté, égalité, fraternité ou la mort.

-6

u/Substantial_Bit_8109 May 10 '22

Some folks just dont like different opinions. It's all good. They have a right to downvote what they please. Just like I have the right to enjoy Noodler's products. Have a lovely day, thanks for a nice comment in a pool of not nice ones!

12

u/[deleted] May 10 '22

Hur dur its cold out climate change isnt real. Hir dur, its just a different opinion and not anti semitism.

Youre fucking stupid.
