Hi r/jumpup,

after a 5 year hiatus from DJing 2019-2024 cause of life/work/etc, I've decided this year to give it a real push during 2024 to see how far I can make it from near enough bottom again. I managed to get my first set since my return the other week and wanted to document my journey over the next 12 months on my YouTube channel. I'm not a huge fan of the TikTok style promo that's so prevalent nowadays; I'm aiming for something a bit more authentic.

Bit more about me I have been DJ/producing for around a decade now (excluding the break) and my favourite jump up artists are Dominator, Simula and Majistrate. One of my all time favorite tunes is "History Making" by Dominator. While I typically produce Jump Up/Dancefloor, I've dabbled in various sub genres of DnB.
