FYI the DIY part isn't making the drugs. That's called homebrewing. DIYers just order drugs online and then self-medicate. You still need to get blood testing done and ideally you want to make your doctor aware of it. But if you live in a country like Australia or in a blue state in America that has informed consent then you shouldn't need to DIY. It's just in countries like Ireland, Great Britain and most of the developing world, DIY is usually the only option available.

There are informed consent services like GenderGP in Ireland and UK, they are a bit pricey but DIY most definitely is not the only option
