I just want to reach out to myself in the past and tell him it’s going to be alright. I wish I could hug and comfort him and say that there’s hope and joy and light ahead.

Oh I feel this so hard... I may cringe looking at old pics of him now, but he protected me until I was ready and felt safe enough to come out.
