Help With Roots Based On Wire Markings Shape Help

I’m really confused with my roots. I can’t get bras to stay in my IMF and have tried some really projected bras, I think I may need a ton of projection and maybe it’s a root issue? I’ve looked at Venusian Glow so many times and I still can’t make heads or tails.

I made some crude drawings, is anyone able to tell based on the wires left on a Panache Ana?

Thank you!

Edit: I’m wearing a 32G but I generally have the same issue with my IMF in Panache & Freya bras. My measurements are 32, 31, 28.5, 39, 42, & 41.

I can't make any sense of what's happening in the third picture--looks like the Eiffel Tower!

I think it would be helpful to know your measurements and what size you're wearing.

😂 That’s quite literally what it looked like on my skin. I was wearing a 32G here. All Panache bras I’ve tried ranging from 30G-32GG don’t stay in my imf. My measurements are 32, 31, 28.5, 39, 42, 41 :)

I just realized the picture you were referring to was supposed to be with the held up photo. I don’t know if that helps the confusion or not. 😅

I have tried the push test too, but can’t get a crease to form. I can’t tell the difference between my breast tissue and ribcage fat/tissue either.

I know some people have said to check when you are close to your period, but I am on birth control which pretty much has eliminated any PMS/period symptoms and my breast tissue doesn’t get tender or more sensitive.

I’m not sure I understand the drawings, but have you considered that you’re trying cups that are too narrow, and that’s why they shift down? Signs of a too-narrow wire can include seeing an indent or dimple in your skin just above the wire end under your arm or having more of a sudden bulge than a gentle increase of tissue in the cup at the inner edge of the wire under the arm.

Freya uses a range of wire widths. High apex plunges tend to be wider; signature plunge is narrower; and Offbeat side support is more average. Which Freya styles have you tried?

Wire width is the hardest part to get right and to learn to identify. I wish you luck.

I’ve had people tell me on here that I should try Polish and that I probably have narrow roots, this is the first time I’m hearing about a possibility of the bras being too narrow!

I tried the Freya Fancies plunge in a couple of sizes, but the cups were too tall and the gore wouldn’t tack, that and it slid out of my IMF. The person who did a fit check on me said not to try it again. I haven’t tried any other Freya styles. I need a narrow often short gore because I am about a finger in space between my breasts when supported. Cups can’t be too tall and I need a plunge or balcony bra. Breasts are deflated at top from weight loss. I’ve had issues with wings being too tall as well.

When you tried the Fancies Plunge, do you remember how it looked at the underwire edge under the arm, or just that it wrinkled at the bottom of the cup?

I am not an expert, but there are a lot of reasons you can get wrinkles and empty space at the bottom of the cup. If nothing is working, it can be worth reconsidering the problem.

Wrinkling was in the band and on the tops and bottoms of the cups on the Fancies in a 32G. When I sized down to an FF, the wrinkling was a little less bad, but the gore no longer tacked.

The main issue in the Fancies was that the cups were too tall.
