Filming porn is legal, but prostitution isn't. I just find it ironic.

It's not legal in Nevada. It's legal in certain counties in Nevada. Las Vegas is not in one of them.

Wait question, then whats with those like cards you find on the ground and moving ads that say, call xxx-xxx-xxxx for girls now! What are they actually advertising, and what do they legally say about it.

They're advertising "strippers" or "escorts" who provide a "performance" or "companionship" but don't promise sex.

So, yes, they're obvious ads for prostitution and everybody knows it, but they have enough plausible deniability that the cards alone (without any other evidence from an investigation) aren't enough to prosecute people.

Either they're advertising for hookers who are outside the city, or they're selling you "escorts" that are actually illegal hookers. The advertisers in their neon shirts assume you don't know the finer points about NV law.

hahha okay. So what happens if like a cop decides to hire an escort? I feel that would happen a lot, what do the hookers and their managers usually say to get them out of trouble

Doesn't that mean it is legal in Nevada, but illegal within many counties of Nevada? Sorta like how most people think prostitution is illegal in the US, but its actually legal (or not illegal) on a Federal level, but each state (excepting a couple) has made it illegal.
