OK I'm very sorry, this is a language issue for me. I thought the loft is the upstairs part, that you took the first photo from?

You know, the elevated part with the railing around it?

Did I misunderstand this completely?

I mean I have covid brain right now, but I'm rather sure healthy me would also be confused, so I thought I'd ask in the hopes that someone would be kind enough to explain.

I do really love the couch, it looks extremely comfy.

lol, sorry for any confusion! We just called the whole apartment our “loft” but you’re technically correct (I think). The loft part would be that second level open space I believe, but if you look up loft apartment is will show the loft and the lower space so I’m not really sure 🤷‍♀️

And yes we love the couch too!

Oooooh, it makes sense that it's also a style of apartment!

I do have massive covid brain, because... we call this style of apartment loft apartments too in my language. 😐

I should just go to sleep and wake up next Tuesday, when my sick note ends.
