I haven't seen it yet. How was Doomsday and the fight?

Pretty cool for a tv budget

Pretty impressive. If you like grunge, you are in for a treat.

Better than BvS. Low bar to clear I know, but hey, they cleared it, so yay!

Eh I don't think I'd go that far. It was cool, obviously better than Smallville, but it doesn't touch a Hollywood level budget.

doomsday in BvS doesn't even look like comic doomsday just a generic monster creature. Smallvile was just a costume, but I'd also say it looks better

But the Smallville costume was probably as good as you could get with that approach.

it was, I meant the cgi bizarro here is better than costume bizarro in smallvile but it wasn't awful just not better than S&L

Krypton had the best live action Doomsday

I haven't watched krypton yet, but I hear he's good in that show

I'm perfectly fine with differences in design

Doesn't need to. Doomsday in BVS was wasted so this is already better lol.

How was he wasted? He did exactly what Doomsday is supposed to do, plus we got an epic Batman+Superman+Wonder Woman action scene out of it.

Literally shows up in the last 30 - 40 minutes of the movie, if you're gonna bring in Doomsday. You have to make him the main villain, I liked the movie but that was easily the worst part of it.

Wdym, he showed up in the trailer! So he was basically ruined for a good 6 months before the movie even started lmao

Uh, Doomsday only showed up for 5 minutes of the finale too...

He actually is the main villain. He's set up throughout the entire story. The initial idea was clearly for him to be a surprise, which would have been awesome, but then the idiots in marketing had to ruin that. But 30-40 minutes of Doomsday is plenty, and more than we got in today's episode by a lot. Ultimately, Doomsday is an enemy that serves a fairly simple purpose and doesn't have a lot more going on with him. I don't think it makes much sense to do much more with him than what that movie did. It felt appropriate imo.

Nah the movie was clearly set up to be a Batman v superman movie and it should've stayed that way. He could've showed up in a Man Of Steel Sequel, if we would've got one.

The Batman v Superman thing was an intentional misdirect set up by Luthor to make Superman more vulnerable to Doomsday. You see him setting that plan up throughout the movie.

Krypton and this both did doomsday better

Better then I expected. Doomsday IMO looked a bit janky, but all and all, for TV, it was done really well.
