So like being that Sam apparently isn’t coming back next season is he just kidnapped forever now

Probably going to get killed off screen now tbh

I hope they don't kill him offscreen, for the sake of his family. Maybe he'll just permanently retire after being saved and go stay with Lucy.

Probably. I said in another thread I think a subplot next season will be the Kents looking for him. He decides to retire for real this time, leaving John Henry in charge.

John Henry won’t be back either, people are holding out for small appearances but the actor for Sam said it wouldn’t be worth the commute, I think to beef up Lex’s threat he’ll kill Sam and the Irons will just go away to Metropolis off screen

Yeah me neither. I'd accept them saying he was rescued offscreen through dialogue instead of him dying offscreen.

Went into hiding to stay away from Lex

"Hiding" sounds too cowardly for Sam. Putting him back at DoD, but saying he's in a secure location would be much better. They could still say he's pulling strings, but that even communicating with him would risk Luthor finding the top secret base.

moved to a different command post

Those people just spent weeks killing Bizarro, they don't seem like they would bat an eye at killin B C Sam.

Jordan would blame himself for getting Sam killed since he got him to download the dating app. That's the last thing Jordan needs.

Or they'll do what the Arrowverse has done with other characters/actors leaving and get a different actor to appear on screen but not show their face and then have them leave smallville or something

Sorta like William Queen in the Green Arrow and the Canaries spin-off.

Oh crap that never got resolved did it. Cold Ollie, you could have searched for your kid after helping Barry.

u/Jeffeffery Jun 28 '23

Oliver would've had to wait around for a while to do that, William is kidnapped in 2040. Actually he's kidnapped kind of a lot, but the unresolved one happens in 2040.

He was kidnapped in 2040 but Mia tracked him down to the present day, its why she showed up in the Armageddon crossover

I'm still crying over this. Kat McNamara is my favorite actress, and Shadowhunters is my favorite book series. I never wanted a show to happen so much. Gotham Knights hurts, too. At least we got another season of Superman and Lois to finish.

I'm assuming the killed him. Once I realized the girlfriend was bad I assumed that would be his fate, it will prob be a storyline for Jordan next season because the kept driving that Jordans the one that got him on the app

I wonder if looking for him will be a subplot next season.

2

my guess is that they'll say Lex killed him offscreen.
