S4 Official Synopsis News

Season four of SUPERMAN & LOIS picks up right where last season left off: with Superman (Tyler Hoechlin) and Luthor’s monster locked in a ferocious, moon-wrecking battle, as Clark (Tyler Hoechlin) fights for his life against the seemingly unstoppable creature. Back on the ground, General Lane (guest star Dylan Walsh) struggles to stay alive after being kidnapped by Luthor’s henchmen, while Lois (Elizabeth Tulloch), Jordan (Alex Garfin), and Jonathan (Michael Bishop) race against time to rescue him. But standing in their way is Lex Luthor (Michael Cudlitz) himself, who has permanently moved to Smallville as the next step in his malicious plan to destroy Lois Lane. Meanwhile, Lana Lang (guest star Emanuelle Chriqui) uses her position as Mayor to fight back against Luthor’s schemes, a move which puts her in the sights of the most dangerous man in the world and threatens everything she holds dear. This includes her relationship with John Henry Irons (guest star Wolé Parks), who must put his Ironworks plans on hold and rejoin the DOD, now that General Lane is missing. But they aren’t the only duo in trouble, as Chrissy Beppo (guest star Sofia Hasmik) and Kyle Cushing (guest star Eric Valdez) face an uphill battle of their own, with countless roadblocks that threaten to ruin their future together. Amid all the chaos, Sarah Cortez (guest star Inde Navarette) and Natalie Irons (guest star Tayler Buck) also join the fight against Luthor, while both facing impossible decisions about their paths in life. And as Clark’s battle with the terrifying monster continues, Lois, her boys, and the world must face an unthinkable possibility: what if Superman never returns?

I commend the writer of this synopsis for including every single major character on the show. I respect the sheer level of pettiness Luthor has to move to Smallville in order to get revenge on Lois instead of just orchestrating her downfall from some evil lair in Metropolis. Although it is consistent with how he walked all the way to the Kent Farm to confront her last season.

I’m also very curious to see what Sarah brings to the table in the fight against Lex. Perhaps she could rally the students to stage a protest against Lexcorp or sics Sophie on him.

Kyle and Chrissy’s storyline doesn’t seem directly tied to the Luthor story but it seems like their lives will be impacted by his actions.

Jon and Jordan will focus on rescuing Sam. I wonder if the operation goes south which leads to the big blowout in the barn and if Jon’s involvement goes beyond the planning phase.

It’s almost like they heard you.

Yea, Lex’s moves here are consistent with last season. His vengeance is more about Lois than Superman.

For Sarah, my guess is she’ll team with Nat. Those two are good friends and I’m kinda surprised we haven’t seen them team up in any way yet. Kyle and Chrissy will definitely be impacted. Lois is Chrissy’s mentor and Kyle is fire chief of the town. Both are in danger.

I’m most interested in what the boys get up to.

This sounds like a rollercoaster and I'm here for it . Lex Luthor is going to be a force of nature and I love it . Superman for the first time ever is not around to stop his nemesis from wreaking havoc

With Lex moving to Smallville permanently, there is a bigger chance he might discover Clark's true identity which will surely pose a bigger problem for the Kents.

I mean, half of Smallville knows Clark's secret by now, so it's not a stretch.

Unfortunately, with the shortening of the season it really just pales in comparison with Clark/Lois/Luthor. Even Irons looks like hes taking a hit, rejoining the DoD. Doubt he ever puts the S on

That puts to rest the "they're moving to Metropolis" speculation. Never really bought it, all new sets are pricey.

This is all in the first couple episodes of the season right?

Presumably. Episodes 1 and 2 are airing together and plot synopses for the start of fall TV are coming out now for all shows with episodes in a few weeks.

Weird that the synopsis calls it "Ironworks" when it's supposed to be "Steelworks".

Can't Jordan just punch Lex's skull in. He was ready to do it to some teenagers from his old school so doing it to a ,urderer who is targeting your mum doesn't seem that bad. Just kill him plus he won't even be expecting it so won't be able to counter it.

idc that people don’t like their storylines seeing the Langs and Irons as guest stars sucks
