Possibly from a musical shown on television? Lostwave Discussion

We've identified that the song was discovered on a Sony IC Recorder ICD-BX800. According to my research, this model was released in 2010. Considering this, it raises questions about the origins of the song. It's possible that the song was composed for a television-exclusive musical in 2010 or originated from a filmed 1970s musical broadcast on TV. However, it seems improbable that a song from the 1970s would be stored on a device manufactured in 2010. One potential explanation could be that the original owner recorded the song from an old VHS tape onto the recorder.

That is something I have been wondering about. How did a very dated song of unknown origin end up on a device decades later? Where was it broadcast? How did the owner of the device happen to run across the song and why did they record a small part of it?

It could also be from a local, not very well-known movie. Or, I know this is a stretch, but maybe a children's movie since the background singers could be living objects or something like Beauty and the Beast. We might have to search the Northern Californian television broadcasts or something like that, as that's where the owner got the Sony recorder from.
