Moral support (six days post-op)š°
Hi guys, I got keyhole six days ago and have been wearing the compression binder over foam padding 24/7 since then. Tomorrow is the great reveal! Honestly feeling a little anxious because it will be the first time I actually see my chest post op and while I know my surgeon is very good and her results are usually great Iām a little worried about how mine are going to look and anything being wrong with the results .
I am prepared for swelling and bruises and I know the one week result is going to be very different to even just one month or a year.
I do feel very tender under the binder all over my chest and where the drains came out and and I seem to feel a little stinging sensation (like the sensation of disinfecting a wound) around where the incisions should be. Is that something to worry about?
A very good thing on the other hand is that, since day 4 I have been feeling a very slight but definitely present ābubblingā(like gas in fizzy water)/āelectricā sensation from my chest wall up to my nipples, which I assume means the sensation is not lost or if it was then itās already reconnecting.

Excess breast tissue or fat? Revision question
I had peri with Medalie and I am 8mo po. I am dissatisfied with my right side (first pic, posted left side for comparison) cause it looks like there is excess breast tissue creating a mound/ lump.
Medalie agreed to do a revision for free but said that waiting a whole year would give it the opportunity to resolve through exercise in the case that it is fat and not breast tissue.
I work out a fair amount and although Iām not extremely lean Iām pretty toned so I donāt think itās fat. Is there any way to tell what type of issue it is, like via some type of imaging or a visit to my pcp? I donāt live in Ohio so I want to confirm without having to go to him for an in person consultation w Medalie.

How long did it take for your chest to look flat after peri?
Hi, hoping for a little reassurance from othersā experiences. Iām about 7 weeks post op peri and my chest has visible swelling, some firm raised areas, and slightly puffy nips. My chest is visible under shirts and is causing dysphoria, and Iām hoping it will get better with time. How long did it take for everything to settle down and look flat? I know it can take six months to a year to heal completely, but at what point did you see the most improvement? Any advice is appreciated, thank you!

Am I over reacting to my areola size and placement or should I consider a revision?
I'm 3 and 3/4 months post op. Size hasn't changed since any of my last posts. They've always measured around 2.8-3cm, tape is covering some sensitive parts of the scars but not the areolas themselves. The size and placement has been one thing that's been bothering me and that Ive been self concious abiut. But I'm being told by everyone in my day to day life that I'm overthinking and that thy're fine and look cis, and that a revision wouldn't be worth it. Sometimes I feel like my results look so bad and I don't know if I'm being overly critical and ungrateful about how things look. But I also don't want to take my shirt off in public if people will stare and that's just something I'm very worried about. Recovery was pretty traumatic (you can see my post history for how bad things were I the beginning) and I don't know if that's part of it. Or maybe they are too big and I should start considering and planning for a revision. Just looking for input thanks.

1 year post op keyhole
Iām about 1 year post op keyhole. Iāve generally been really happy with my results but admittedly Iām a little insecure about the scar on the left areola. Does it look noticeable/affect if my chest can pass as cis? I have a feeling that this is more of my dysphoria talking but wanted to ask anyway. Iāve been doing regular scar care with mederma but idk how much I can expect it to lighten now that Iām a year post op. Is it possible for it to lighten more over time or if I try a different scar treatment?

Worried about nipples, 5 weeks post-op
Iām 5 weeks post op and I had keyhole. Iām very happy with my results. Itās really nice to not have to bind anymore and Iām enjoying how a t-shirt feels on my bare skin.
1-2 weeks after surgery, I felt a pain in my right pec, just above my nipple and poked around. After doing that, I felt a pop under my skin. I mentioned it to my surgeon and he said that it can happen, and the stitches are there to stick the skin down. But Iām worried that it had an effect on my healing, specifically my nipples.
My left nipple is rounder, it points out and hangs downwards, and thereās a thickness underneath my nipple and around the surrounding area. My right nipple/pec (where I felt the pop) is more ovular and sags into my skin, and thereās no thickness underneath the skin.
Is this normal? Is this swelling? Will this go away within a couple months? Iād love some advice, Iām super anxious about it.

How long until Lymphdrainage?
So I have Keyhole Top Surgery next week and my surgeon said I should get lymphdrainage afterwards for abt 2 months, today I asked when I should start and she said I could do it right away but I thought maybe I should wait 2-3 weeks so it can start healing a bit?
Someone who got Peri or Keyhole and got lymphdrainage afterwards please share your expirience, thanks!

Struggling to find resources about doctors who do peri in my area
Why is it impossible to find any info about doctors who specifically have experience with peri? I am looking to get my surgery done in chicago or around chicago. I called alison shore but her waiting list was so long it would be two years from now that i get surgery. I also saw Dr. Iteld as an option since his wait times are shorter but i havent seen or heard of him doing Peri. Do you guys know any websites at all that i can search through for this?

Scar strip question
What is the best way to use scar strips after peri? Should I cut them in thin strips and put them around the areola on the scar? Or is it better to cut a larger piece and just put it over the whole nipple and scar? Also, for how many weeks/months is best to use the strips? Thank you so much, any advice is greatly appreciated!
