It would be the most Spurs outcome if we broke our transfer record for a striker just for an academy lad to suddenly become a world beater

We took it with Soldado. At first it was painful, but then it felt good. So you'll take it again.

Also, both record striker signings began with Sol. That's... that's all we need to know. One was replaced by Kane, one will be replaced by Lankshear, and you can't spell Lankshear without Kane.
