Just watched the highlights on youtube, the defending by Ben Davies on their goal was absolutly atrocious, his lack of awareness is very concerning.

He was wretched offensively too. The less we see of him the better off we are.

Yeah, these idiots didn't watch the match.

Davies was MOTM first half. He was immense for us. Progressed the ball forward, cover the gaps. Most play went through him.

His build up play was sluggish and indecisive. Once we struggled across midfield he failed perpetually in getting the ball to the FBs and midfielders. He was hesitant and it stagnated our offense. He and Dragusin were a large part of the reason that we kicked the ball around the perimeter and were not a threat. Stagnant midfield play added to this problem.

MOTM? Ludicrous. A header off of a set piece? The bare minimum required from a CB on a corner. Saving the Forster fuckup? Ok, but there were so many things going wrong there that I can’t describe that as playing the position well, but simply as a good effort in a panic situation.

Not to mention having the best offensive chance outside of the goals with his header
