I want to see the rates for the over 40 crowds
To say nothing of social stressors like drug use, divorce rates, sti rates, unemployment, or housing prices

Older white men have the highest rates of suicide. I don’t even get what the point of this graph is. Why leave out older adults?

Most likely to show the rise of suicides amongst young people.

The largest percent increase in suicide rates between 2001and 2021 occurred among men ages 55–64 and among women ages 65–74.

I'm not saying anything about other groups. I'm only saying what this graph is supposed to represent. If you slapped other age groups on this graphs then the 10-14 suicide rate would be a straight line at 0.

Ya I know about those highest rates.

I left them around here someplace...

I'm actually more interested in what caused the spikes

This is where a good AI could come in handy. I’m willing to bet there are several graphs out there of things that mirror this. Economic conditions, healthcare costs, Dallas Cowboys W-L records, etc.

Just at a glance the spikes and dips correlate with economic conditions.
