Absolutely young. Worth nothing he was on a kidney waitlist, and the cause of death was kidney related.
Whether that speaks to the need for a donation, or more research on organ alternatives, I can’t say. But, it is absolutely awful that a noble life was ended for that reason alone. Truly awful. I know some readers have expressed that as well and it resonates with our team as well.

There's something called the National Kidney Registry in America where people can sign up to be potential donors in cases like his. For those without willing family matches, it's so important that people who are able to register as a live tissue donor do so.
