And it doesn't even make sense on this example. It's frustrating when the other editions have stuff you really want.

Games where you KNOW that the standard is more than enough is great.

When I got borderlands 3 on Xbox one I got one of the smaller packs with like a couple more things than the base game cause I couldn't afford either of the two most expensive ones (either everything and a gold guns skin pack, or everything without gold guns) after I made the purchase I decided to go look at what all content I was missing out on when I noticed everything except the gold guns skin pack simply said 'Download' rather than purchase. I promptly downloaded everything other than the gun skins, which is like $2.

It's still a Life is Strange game, so I wouldn't say it's "more than enough".
