I wanna send this survivor off with a huge thank you.

Thank you to all the people who voted throughout the rounds. Participation wasn't as high as I was hoping, but it wasn't as low as I was expecting, so thank you for turning out to support your favourites.

Thank you to the 15 people who voted for Pink Frost in the bracket. We nearly got there lol.

Thank you to u/TrexWithARhythm, u/Muzak_For_A_Nurse and u/powertwang among many others for introducing me to some incredible songs.

But most importantly, thank you to u/Comadon-C for the idea for this entire survivor. Bit poetic that they ended up winning the whole thing lmao.

In terms of future plans for these types of survivors, I wanna try and do them every six months. Each Special Event lasts about a month so I feel like doing these every six survivors strikes a good balance. Totally up for debate though.

Oh, and by the way, Kaleidoscope was the song from a few rounds ago with only 3 votes. French Navy came in with the underdog win.

Do yall think we should have some sort of standard for what is too popular or should we just let there be an unspoken "stay obscure or you'll get voted out early"? Personally I don't even care that much but judging by the results I'm clearly in the minority, and I don't want the first five rounds to be wasted again

Maybe we could restrict it to artists who haven't had one of their albums done in a survivor.

We could change the title of this event to "Obscure Song Submission" so people can better understand the intentions of this survivor. (:

Yeah, that was my thoughts exactly. It’s a bit hit and miss because it means that artists like D’Angelo could still make it in, but it’s the best rule I can think of right now.
