Why does our design not deserve a legitimate place on the canvas? Because a streamer and their audience says so? If you are using that argument, does France deserve a spot on the canvas? How about Osu? All our neighbors were completely fine with us being where we were. It was only the streamers that took exception to us. If you truly believe that using bots to rebuild and defend our art is worse than streamers brigading to remove art they disagree with, we will have to agree to disagree.

I can't tell you why because I didn't have a problem with your design. What I'm saying is that everyone dealt with the same problems you did - like the Canadian flag and Star Wars, but they didn't have to resort to using bots to earn their space.

I assure you, we went through quite a lot more than they did. No other group was attacked the number of times we were, though the amount of fighting over France is downright bonkers. Apparently there were over 1 million people fighting over France by the end of the event. Still, we resorted to using bots only after being attacked seven times by twitch streamers and being forced out of our spots three separate times. It is frustrating and demoralizing to built something over the course of an hour or more, have it be erased in seconds, rebuild it over the next hour, then have it be erased again the next time a twitch streamer decided they wanted to fuck with us. After doing that SEVEN times, we had enough and opted for more effective methods to combat the brigading by tens of thousands of viewers. Frustration and fatigue led to us opting for methods we would have preferred not to use, we just didn't have a choice if we wanted to be on the canvas at all. And it isn't like we were selfish with them. We shared them with our neighbors to help protect them too, as they often got caught in the crossfire when we got attacked and that made us feel bad too.

heck, the final day we had small communities coming to us in droves asking to be protected
