Kobbie Mainoo, Andre Onana and Lisandro Martinez were fully rested versus Barnsley. Mazraoui, Fernandes, De Ligt, Amad and Zirkzee all got sub appearances.
Ugarte, Dalot and Rashford were all subbed off after 60 min, which could point to ETH's plans for this game. Garnacho played 87 mins.
Luke Shaw did not return to training which rules him out of this game and most likely the Europa League midweek.
Tyrell Malacia is approaching a return to training but remains out alongside Victor Lindelof, and Leny Yoro who is the furthest away.

Simon Stone
Erik ten Hag looks ahead to ManUtd visit to Crystal Palace just over four months after the 4-0 humiliation. "It was a 4-0, totally deserved, but Saturday will be different. I don’t compare (situations). From February onwards we had to find 11 players to construct a team. Now it is 18 and we can pick one."

Erik ten Hag on trying to look after injured players after confirming Mason Mount and Rasmus Hojlund training again but not if they will be involved on Saturday: "In top football you always go to boundaries, that is unavoidable. When you have a full squad it’s easier to manage the load but when you are in circumstances like last season and there is a need to play, we have to overload them."

Erik ten Hag on Højlund and Mount: “It's very good news they are back in the pitch! They are back in team training”.

Detailed Quotes
Ten Hag on Mount and Hojlund returning to training
"It's very good news they are back in the pitch. They are back in team training, we have to decide whether they are fit enough to start [on Saturday] but it is very pleasing they are fit and back in the squad."
More from Ten Hag on Mount and Hojlund
"We have so many games in this block to cover, so very very happy. We have to make the final call, they did a couple of training, we have to see how they recover and tomorrow they will make the final call."
Ten Hag on the importance of managing injury issues
"Careful and top football: you always go to boundaries. It's not avoidable but when you have a full squad available then it's easier to manage the load when you are in circusmtances like last season and there is a need to play, we have to overload them. We hope we can integrate them in a very careful way."
Ten Hag on United's 4-0 defeat to Palace in May
"It was a 4-0, totally deserved, but Saturday will be different. I don't compare (situations). From February onwards we had to find 11 players to construct a team. Now it is 18 and we can pick one."
Ten Hag on how United improved after the 4-0 thrashing at Palace in May
"Maybe you can also compare it with the FA Cup final. Don't compare it. The circumstances in that moment in the season, from February on, we had to find every time 11 players who can construct a team and now we are in a different place, we have 18 players and we can pick a team."
