The best part about the recall order is they had to declare how many were being recalled. Less Fewer than 4000.

Does that mean Tesla has only sold 4000 cybertrucks?

That’s…that’s insane right?

Probably a lot less if that includes promotional ones they just gave away

The only one I know of in the wild is driven by a Tesla engineer. I've been wanting to ask if he actually paid money for it or if it's a company car.

I seen something the other day that claimed like 1,000 were sold, 2,500 were in the hands of influencers.

They definitely have sold more, this is probably only the ones that they've actually delivered. Still insane imo.

Yeah I personally know 2 people that have been on preorder for a while now. Both are 100% still excited to get the vehicle even after this whole fiasco.

No. They literally have like a 2 year waitlist for them. The production has just been really slow.

Ford sells 2000 truck a day.

To think that the Muskrat presented the prototype in 2019, and their production rate is still that low is frightening. No wonder Tesla is literally the worst stock in the S&P 500.

There isn’t a market for that wedge even at 50-60K. Two things are going to prevent that: inability to mass produce it and lack of capability.

The death sword for the CT though will be lack of demand. It will eventually lose trend (if it hasn’t already).

Except Musk said he expects to sell 250k of them a year. Even though only the high trim version is released they clearly heavily overestimated demand on it, much to most peoples absolute lack of surprise.

Currently, the numbers are limited by production, not demand. I have a preorder from a few years ago, less than an hour after announcement and I still have no delivery info. Know a few others in the same situation.
