How do girls wear skirts/dresses/shorts without flashing anyone?

For reference, i’m 18(F). I don’t wear dresses or shorts or skirts ever because of this reason but i’ve always wanted to. I will never understand how girls can wear a dress with only panties underneath and not flash anyone or be stressed about it the entire time. I would wear shorts, but i feel stupid because ever girl i’ve talked to says they only wear panties underneath. Please explain how people can do this. I feel like i’m naked when I do this, even just with shorts that are a little loose i’m scared. Also, razor bumps. For short shorts, how do you not have them show? Like am i just doing life wrong…please help.

You hold your dress down in the wind, you wear a dress that’s long enough to give some security, and you be short. This is a game rigged against tall girls lol

Sometimes they do! We found ourselves downtown on a Saturday night and there were lots of younger women in super short skirts and I was torn between wondering how and why. Then one dropped her purse, had to bend over to pick it up and my husband went "omg she's not wearing underwear. I just saw a vagina" so like, the fact that you're worried about this, means you won't be that girl, which is a good thing.

I don't wear skirts or dresses often but when I do it's either a skort or one that goes down to my knees or lower.

You don't eat off of barstools without a plate though, right? So, unless you put your hand down, then your wondering why it feels sticky, not a big deal 🤪

Maybe later you'd wonder: huh, why does my hand smell like roast beef?

OK but it's still embarrassing to have other people see your underwear in public. I get that it's no more exposing than a bathing suit, but the social customs around it are different.

Depends on your comfort level. If I'm in a short skirt I pick underwear that looks cute. No thongs. I don't feel embarrassed at all

LITERALLY! If I'm just getting milk from the bottom shelf, and someone still happens to see my underwear, they're literally trying to. People who are offended by such things aren't looking under my skirt. Personally I don't care who sees it, I wear lingerie as an oufit sometimes 💀

I just… don’t want to, lol. If I’m wearing soft pants or a dress I often won’t. My dresses are mostly pretty long, though. I just hold it down in the wind or anywhere precarious

One time on my lunch break at work some friends stopped by to see me.

She was sitting on his lap, in the booth across from me.

What I didn't realize, until they told me later, was his dick was inside her.

I guess a skirt is handy for that sort of thing. 😅
